Patrick Rivard, MBA, CHRP

The golden rule Patrick Rivard follows in all he does can be summed up in one word: innovation. As someone always looking for new ways to renew and reinvent himself, he is a catalyst who constantly challenges the status quo and comes up with new ways to help boost growth and performance. A true technophile, he is always on the lookout for new trends in management and managerial practices. He puts his expertise and experience to work for organizations while taking into account the organization's people and corporate culture.

Partner and Co-Founder of Alia Consulting, Patrick oversees large mandates and contributes to the professional development of a multidisciplinary team of consultants. He has been a management and organizational development consultant for over 20 years, providing consulting support to large businesses and SMEs on transformation and employee engagement initiatives. He helps entrepreneurs and corporate executives develop and boost the efficiency and effectiveness of their organizations. He also provides strategic expertise in a variety of areas, including organizational diagnostics, strategic thinking, reorganization/restructuring, competency development and management and change management.

After completing a Bachelor's Degree in Social Psychology and Organizational Development at the Université du Québec à Montréal, he went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree with a minor in Strategic Management from McGill University. A trainer, speaker and certified human resources professional, he has also served as chief evaluator for the Grands Prix québécois de la qualité for the past five years. (QUALImètre).

Patrick is the author of the training reference entitled "La gestion de la formation et du développement des ressources humaines : pour préserver et accroître le capital compétence de votre organisation", published by the Presses de l'Université du Québec. He has gained considerable experience in the area of competency development management. His pragmatic approach is geared toward equipping his clients with the tools they need to improve their organization's ability to develop and grow.
