President and Chief Executive Officer


Catherine Privé is president and CEO of Alia Consulting and has been a Partner for over 20 years. She is a social psychologist specialized in organizational analysis and development. As president, she strives to broaden the company's profile and visibility.

Along with the practice managers, she contributes to the development of the firm's areas of expertise. As head of the business development team, she ensures that the proposed approaches meet company needs. She also carries out strategic interventions for clients such as Hydro-Québec, Aéroports de Montréal, Aéroport de Québec, Gaz Métro, Canam, Canarail, and several government agencies.

In April 2016, Catherine Privé was appointed as a member of Réseau Femmessor's board of directors. In June 2015, she was appointed as an independent member of the Société du Centre des congrès de Québec by Cabinet. In 2015 she also accepted the position of cochair of the Young Musicians of the World (YMW) 2015–2020 major fundraising campaign and became a campaign cabinet member for Leucan. She was named "Incontournable des Ressources humaines" (Top Human Resources Performer) in the October 2014 issue of Premières en affaires magazine. In 2013 and 2014, she was the honorary chair of the YWCA Quebec's "Out of the Shadows" benefit gala. She also sits as a vice president of the fundraising campaign for the Asselin Foundation at Cégep de Jonquière and, since 2011, has served as an entrepreneur-trainer at École d'Entrepreneurship de Beauce, where she has had the opportunity to share her experience as a business leader.

She was also a finalist in the 2012 "Prix Femmes d'affaires du Québec" (Business Women of the Year Awards) in the Big Business Entrepreneur and Medium-Sized Business Entrepreneur categories, an initiative of the Réseau des femmes d'affaires du Québec (Network of Quebec Business Women). In 2003, she was named "Jeune personnalité d'affaires" (Young Business Person of the Year) in the Human Resources and Training Category by the Jeune chambre de commerce de Québec.

Catherine Privé is proud to be the head of Alia Consulting, which is now an organizational development mainstay in Quebec. She is always working to steer the firm towards innovative services by staying abreast of the trends and best practices of this increasingly competitive environment. She is motivated by supporting business leaders in identifying strategies to help them attain their business goals and handle the complexity of management.

In March 2017, Alia Consulting received the Prix TELUS | PME impliquée. In 2013, a mention in the “Grands Prix québécois de la qualité” awarded to the firm. In 2009, the company was a Mercuriades award finalist in the Proactive Workforce Management category.
